My name is Michele. After being bedridden and deathly ill for several months at age 35, I was diagnosed in May 2001 with “atypical CF”. Since it is a life threatening genetic disorder they promptly tested my two sons. I told them which son had CF and which was only a carrier before the tests came back.
Doctors told me “People like you don’t get well.” But I had been sickly my whole life. Now that I finally knew why, I felt I could at least do somewhat better. In the years since, I got off the eight or nine prescription drugs I was once on, worked a full time job for five years, and destroyed my finances getting myself well.
As of this writing (April 2012), I am deeply in debt, jobless, homeless and trying to declare bankruptcy. I have no regrets. Not getting well would have been worse in every way, including financially. This website is my attempt to share information about what helped me and my best understanding of why it worked.
